MACRO Monday

This was the first macro photo I ever took with my macro lens and it is perfect to me! It makes me smile for a few reasons:

1. I took it in Brisbane when we lived at New Farm (very happy memories)
2. The yellow stamens have the tiniest of dots on them (hard to spot with the naked eye)
3. The texture in the petals are cool
4. It looks almost good enough to eat
