I bought some watercolours for Anya and I have really enjoyed using them with her and on my own at night when she is tucked in bed :-) Just playing around and doing something different to my normal sewing/creating.
This is my attempt at painting Mondays orchids.

Lovely - watercolours are so dreamy!
Breathtaking, honestly! I LOVE watercolor, ever since reading all the tales of Beatrix Potter. But have been too scared to give it a try. My mother in law even bought me all the supplies to give it a go. They sit in the dresser with all my fabric stash.

Lovely. You're watercolours are so pretty. They offer such a "lightness" in comparison to painting canvas on acrylics and I quite like the way they bleed together or take on a little path of their own. Beautiful colour choices.
