Love Lace Exhibition: Part Two: Paper

As you have gathered by now the Love Lace isn't all fabric lace but many interpretations of lace like objects!  These amazing laser cuts above and below called The Moving Pattern by artist, Tomy Ka Chun Leung.    

This is a hand cut work below by Dutch artist, Marian Smit.  So intricate with a more rustic feel than the pieces above.  I am busting to have a go at trying paper cutting... not sure I would find it very relaxing though :-)
Lastly a truly jaw-dropping display, I can't quite believe these gowns and bonnets are made from paper...

These masterpieces are made from Canadian artist Noelle Hamlyn.  Noelle has smocked and embroidered Japanese gampi tissue to make these stunning gowns...  You can see more paper exhibits here.
